In 2015, Merck officially completed its merger with Sigma-Aldrich: the group’s new Life-Science department was built.

Approach

The task for BBN Germany: develop a new campaign, which informs customers and multipliers in the chemistry segment about this merger. This should also provide security that all positive aspects will remain within the new constellation: high-end products, scientific innovations and support for the scientific community.

The campaign idea just puts it in a nutshell: no reason to panic. The Sigma-Aldrich customers can expect the same good old company standards. This message is connected to an offer of getting information by marketing – either on the company website or through personal dialogue.

The campaign has started in 2016 with international communication and will be implemented into different communication tools (online and offline).
